Hi there!! I started playing bass in 1990 and didn’t know shit. Somehow I liked playing bass that much that I carried on and learned myself to play. So I stopped climbing trees and started to kill my time with my new friend: the bassguitar! The addiction to heavy music started somewhere in the eighties. I ran into Steve Harris and he told me something about his band. Something with “Maiden”. Anyway, he played a few songs of his band, put on tight pants and danced around the livingroom, while his bass was making the sound of a running horse. I watched this a few minutes, left, and went to the record store to buy Slayer “Haunting The Chapel” and Sadus “Illusions”. I wanted to listen to fast music. Music with balls. Music with fast balls and energy. Because Zeke weren’t around back then, I tried it the other way. I shook hands with METAL!!
